Here's what shipped in v3.19: Draggable (+) button, bulk select, quick move, undo, quick find, widgets, sharing in and out...
Here's what shipped in version 3.19 last month.
Draggable (+) button. You can now drag the new task button to insert a task at any position in a list, or to the floating Inbox for quick capture.
Bulk select. Swipe-left to select multiple tasks, then act on all of them at once β trash, move, focus, schedule, add tags, log, mark complete or incomplete. Press and hold to drag the whole selection and reorder. On iPad, drag selected items across into a different list via the sidebar.
Quick move. Swipe-right to tap-tap-move a task into another state or project. Super useful for rapid filing from your inbox, or from any list really.
Undo. Any action that would be painful to reverse manually now gives you a snack bar with an undo option. A huge relief after a bulk operation you change your mind about, or when you trash something by accident.
Quick find. Pull down to bring up a search bar. Recent locations surface automatically. Type ahead to navigate β I for Inbox, F for Focus, Wo if you have a "work" tag. Faster than reaching for the menu, especially on larger phones.
Widgets. Home screen widgets in multiple sizes showing your Focus list or Inbox. Tap to open directly to that list. One-tap new task capture from the home screen. (Lock screen widgets coming soon.)
Share sheets. Share anything into Nirvana from other apps using the native share sheet. Share tasks out the same way β to mail, messages, clipboard, wherever. Multiple selected tasks can be shared together. Paste a list of items and each line becomes its own task.
To see what we're working on next, visit our new feedback board β it's the place to share your thoughts, vote on ideas, and see what others are saying. Also, please consider subscribing to this blog to stay up on all things Nirvana.
